Apparently you don't want the Blues to have first round picks anymore...

I’m a bit confused to why we oils need him. Bouwmeester contract is up after the season. So literally we can get anyone after this season.

It's not hard to think that way from a fan's perspective. Hoffman returned peanuts. Karlsson could soon be gone for much less than he's actually worth. Why would Stone want to stay in Ottawa?

The Blues could skip a couple of years picking in the 1st round if that was the roster.

well i didnt say hes not getting traded, if you actually read what i said is that he wasnt valued properly in that trade. i think if ROR can get a 1st and a few prospects and depth, im sure mark stone can get a grade A prospect and a 1st

I never said you implied Stone wouldn't be traded smile

I'm saying the value you and a lot of fans have on a return for Stone might not be accurate. ROR is in his prime, signed for 5 years, and plays the more important position of center. He returned a good prospect, a 1st & 2nd and two veterans that washed out the cap of ROR. The most likely reason ROR didn't return a Kyrou or Thomas is other GM's knew he wanted out of Buffalo. If*** the same is true about Stone I could see his return on a trade being affected.

For the record I wouldn't be opposed to Kyrou + a 1st for Stone. Ottawa would have to take on a decent amount of salary from the likes of Bouwmeester.

For the record ROR never publicly stated he wanted out of Buffalo either.

A Stanley Cup might be slightly more important
