In my defense, I didn't realize Backes had a NMC. But in hindsight, yeah it's pretty s**t. Also, that was genuinely funny.

I try. backs loses his NMC after july first next year, so deals with him can probably be worked out then.

Skinner would be pretty cool, and Carolina is in a really weird spot so perhaps they could be torched in a deal.

I could see a potential Skinner UFA signing if they can get Backes' contract moved then.
