I wouldn't bother resigning Varly, especially for that much.

Seriously doubt that Nyquist accepts a 2 x 4 deal, Rumor has it he wants 5 x 5.5 on his next deal. And some crazy GM probably gives it to him.

I think It would be Ideal to move Johnson after this year unless he breaks out, also I really hope theyll be able to Sign Mikko for cheaper maybe 6 mil, just can't see him making more money then Mackinnon.

Don't like the Nyquist signing mainly because I'm not a fan of his game it seems to have dropped off the last few years but Hagelin would do well on the Avs.

And if they won the lottery with Ottawas pick that'll be redemption for getting F***ed over in the 2017 Draft lottery

Too soon to call Varlamov/Grubauer. If they both push themselves to with the starting job, the team wins. Literally. A lot of games.

Zadorov's next deal costs more.

Hagelin at 2? Because he was less dominant in his second Cup win than his first? What do you all smoke in Colorado these days, anyway?

I like the team you've got, but I think the cap hits are pretty optimistic. Calvert cost 2.8 after one good playoff SERIES. Hagelin, Kessel, and Bonino played like a first line through an entire Cup win. The Caps shut down Crosby and still lost.

I think Barrie would be the first to go before Johnson. With Girard and Makar playing a similar style, it makes Barrie expendable. Johnson takes on teams best lines every night and he will not be easily replaced. And for a 2nd and a 4th round pick?! C'mon. Barrie arguably has more trade value because he's a legit point producing defenseman. He could be flipped for a top 6 winger or a 1st round pick.
