Leafs have plenty of wingers and greater needs (and lack of cap space) then needing Nash.

I am not sure the Leafs have much interest in Rick Nash, not because of the money, which seems to actually be overpayment, but because of the role he'd fill on this team. I would say at this point in his career, even Andreas Johnsson is aboveNash in the Leafs LW depth chart. Now that we've signed Tyler Ennis, who I imagine figures into LW or C on the 4th line, the only forward moves I'd like to see the Leafs make is adding Mark Letetsu and maybe a player like Scott Upshall or Scott Hartnell to add some cheap toughness on 1 year deal.

I don't disagree with a Nash signing. Besides Rielly, he would be the second best defender on the Leafs.

of course if signed by the canucks or habs he would be their second best forward.
