Description

Despite the late season chemestry between McJesus and RNH, he's essentially their 3rd C and you got spares in Yamamoto, Strome and Caggiula to fill up that spot. Go get a puck moving D-man for RNH, that way the puck'll be on McJesus stick faster and more often (isn't it what you want??). They still don't have enough to be called SC contender, but they could surprise teams in the playoffs (everything rest on Talbot's shoulder)

Yamamoto and Caggiula can't play 3C. Faulk is terrible in his own end, he's a 3rd pairing D man / PP specialist - even Matt Benning's 5v5 numbers are better. I'd rather play Bouchard at 3RD, he's an amazing passer. And RNH makes McDavid better.

Canes fans are all over this for a reason. Awful trade for Edmonton. Just drafted our future puck moving Dman in Bouchard. Don’t need Faulk, especially for RNH. If one of McDavid or Draisaitl gets injured, who’s the 2nd C??

Edmonton is not dealing from a position of strength. Every team in the NHL knows Edmonton needs cap space and puck moving D men. Any trade Edmonton makes will be at their own peril. They need to go through free agency and acquire solid players and trade high picks away to ride contracts like Russell, Sekera and Lucic.
