For me (ranked by how crazy these predictions seem):

5 - Anthony Duclair Scores 50 or More Points with the Blue Jackets
4 - Erik Karlsson Signs an 8 Year Extension with the Senators
3 - McDavid Gets at Least 125 points
2 - The Coyotes Make the Playoffs
1 - Patrik Laine Scores 60 Goals

maybe Laine scores 60. the other predictions are as insane as thinking some reality show star could become the American president.

I thought people would disagree with that one the most because players almost never score 60 goals. You don't even get a 50 goal scorer every year. 60 almost never happens. The whole point is people are gonna disagree with these predictions.

Karlsson only signs an 8 year extension as part of a sign and trade.

5. Bobby Ryan gets traded and becomes a 60 point player.
4. Tyler Seguin scores more goals than Alex Ovechkin
3. John Gibson has the best SV% in the league, but Anaheim still misses the playoffs
2. Dylan Larkin is a point per game player
1. Jusse Saros becomes Nashville’s #1 goalie by the New Year

I know how it could happen ... Price plays amazing, but the rest of the Habs' team is ... you know, the rest of the team like they always are.

How is this bold? They have four that are expected to break 65 points already, and a couple others with the potential to do that for sure.

I was thinking more or less an explanation to how could a goalie win Most valuable player if their team still finishes last. Gotta be the best season someone has ever played lol

1. Svechnikov has a better first season than Dahlin.
2. Golden Knights finish in the Pacific basement.
3. Tavares struggles in his first few months with Toronto.
4. Mark Stone signs for 1 year and is traded at the deadline.
5. Petr Mrazek rebounds in Carolina.

Because with Price they get 60-ish points

Without him they'd get 0 lol

How it could happen. Montreal trade Patches, they have no centres on their roster. Weber is out. Montreal lose 82 games....all games 1-0.

Marleau is capable, Kadri is capable (but most likely won’t due to a new shutdown role), and Reilly has the upside. That’s not a super bold prediction by any means

Yes, but they'd have to win SOME games for him to win the Hart trophy. It's the MVP award ... he's the MVP because they'll get 60-ish points with him instead of the 0 they would have without him lol.

all 82 shoot outs go at least 5 rounds. habs don't score in any of of shootouts. price allows 82 shootout goals ,yes he played every game, but he stopped 487 shootouts attempts

Then they couldn't finish last. 82 points is too many to finish LAST.

Then 41 points. Price finishes with a 0.5 GAA with no shutouts.

If half the games go to a shootout, he'd get 41 shutouts. Is he starting every game?

Yes.

So that's how he wins the Hart. They get 41 points with him instead of the 0 they'd get without him.
