Carolina say no thanks and bye real quick. A top 4 D man and a good 4th liner who could play top 6 mins for a bottom 6 guy in hayes and Bobby Ryan? Nah thanks

Dallas says no thanks, they aren't giving up a good prospect AND a first unless it's getting them a consistent 20+ goal scoring forward or Karlsson.

Bottom 6 guy in Hayes? He had 25 goals last year. He could be a 2nd line center, and he's even spent some time at the wing, he kills penalties.

Hayes isn't bad, but in Carolina, hes still bottom 6, probably 4th line. Carolina don't need more penalty killers either

PROBABLY 4TH LINE? He would've been your 6th highest scoring player this season. Hayes missed 6 games but still only had 2 less points than Jordan Staal and 5 less than Jeff Skinner who played 3 and 6 more games (respectively) than he did.

Okay? Still behind Skinner Aho Teravainen Svechnikov Zykov, maybe he'd be third line in Carolina, still not a need they must fill

I'm not arguing he's not a need for you guys, but you can't deny he's a good player. All the players you listed (with the exception of Terravinen, who actually has played center) all of those players are wingers. I'm sure some could be used to move down the middle, but look at how that worked out for Montreal. I think they'd be a better fit for Hayes anyways.

He would be the second highest GOAL scorer in your team and is a center and you would play him on the 4th line LMAO.... good thing you know a lot about coaching and hockey lol

Aho played C. Staal and Rask are the 2/3 C. (BTW Staal is a very capable 1 C) There is no need for him in Carolina when you mention Teravainen can play C, Necas is coming over, they we have guys like Roy, Wallmark and Saarela who are near NHL ready ( NOt Saarela as much as Roy and Wallmark) Carolina have a very versatile and deep line up. There is no need for him. Unlike montreal we can roll 4 actual centres and experiment with Aho and Tuevo.
