That is their only option. Still will be very hard to even sign Gourde as he will likely ask for $5+ if he has another decent year like last year. He would easily get $5+ on the open market.

That would help them but really Gourde would probably cost more to sign than TJ is signed for so it is a wash there. I guess they could maybe get Gourde without a NTC or NMC which would give them more flexibility moving forward.
