My thoughts are we are going to have to move someone next summer anyhow, so why not upgrade LW from Pearson to Max. Let him walk in the off-season.

Not getting that without an extension and Patches isn’t extending with LA

as a habs fan I don't hate it, were still getting younger with pearson, but I think Im trying to get a 1st if I'm the habs even if it means not getting another young centre like Brodzinski.

I think you could get pearson and a first for patches, easily a more prolific goal scorer and if they want to make a run this year it's worth the 1st added on.

If the Kings are desperate then yes. I’m not a Kings fan but I know they can’t afford not to make the playoffs or have an early exit.

Ok I don’t think that’s enough for Pacioretty but can I go on record with saying I have no idea what LA is doing. Their obviously trying to win but their trying to win like they are in 2012 or something. They were a really successful team but they have tried to be the same as always and haven’t adapted to the new NHL. Kovalchuk was not a good signing, just don’t see how they tell themselves they have gotten better.

After announcing you aren't resigning him and it leaking he wants a long term deal, what leverage do you think you have?

do u really think the habs would leak any info? historically they never ever leak info, whether its this management or past managements. its most likely an agents tactic. how many new rumors swirl around the canadiens every? week
