Here is a 3-way trade proposal that fills each team's needs nicely. Edm would love an offensive top-2 RD. Recent rumor had RD Subban involved in a Karlsson to Nashville trade (also RD). Ottawa needs a 2nd line centre and wants to shed salary and get younger. So what do fans of the three teams think of the following proposed trade? Is it balanced and fair or would one of the teams need to receive more.

To Nashville:
Karlsson (1 yr @ 6.5 Mill) sign & trade 8X10.5 Million
RW Dzingel 26 yrs - 79GP 23G 18A (1yr @ 1.8 Mill cap 2.1 Actual Salary)
Edmonton 1st round pick next year (2019)

To Ottawa:
C Ryan Nugent Hopkins (3 yrs @ 6 mill)
RW Eeli Tolvanen (Preds #1 prospect)

To Edmonton:
Subban (4yrs @ 9 million)

Actual pretty good value all around. Oilers have enough cap problems without adding 3m more and that pick can still be a lottery pick, so I don't think Oilers do it.

The value is okay, but i don't see a reason for Nashville to do it. Their top 4 on defence is amazing already, and i don't think they should change it when they already know it's a great top 4. Subban is probably their best (or 2nd best) defenseman anyway.

Also, Edmonton's 1st, in my opinion, will not actually be that high of a pick. Especially if they get Subban.

Also, i don't think this makes sense for the Senators. RNH is good but he's not EK. Tolvanen is a really top prospect but he hasn't done much in the NHL, so they don't really know what they're getting, And you're giving up EK AND Dzingel.
