Bruins-NYI Small Trade

Created by: PoorTom
Team: 2018-19 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 8, 2018
Published: Jul. 13, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I heard on Sirius XM NHL that NYI are probably looking to deal Eberle. Miller would help shore up a pretty bad d-core outside their top pair. (Retention makes it work cap-wise)

Bjork had significant injuries last year and could use some time in the A.

Eberle is a top 6 winger and Miller is a bottom pair defender, and since the Isles are going into rebuild, they would probably be looking for picks and prospects

I’ve always like the idea of Eberle on a line with Bergeron and Marchand. Be worth it to give up a pick or prospect.

ever seen eberle in the playoffs? he's trash.

that being said this isn't anywhere near what it would take to acquire him, with salary retained no less. maybe a 1st.

This isn't even remotely close. Add in a first rounder or a talented prospect to keep the phone lines open

This is not good value for Eberle at all. Eberle is a guy that can give you 60 points any given season, has solid possession numbers and is a can score or setup linemates. I mean honestly he's worth the going rate for a 50-60pt winger at the deadline + something extra since you'd have him all year. Maybe you get away with a pair of 2nd's and an above average prospect, but even that IMO is low.

Lmao he's played in 2 playoff series' in his entire career. Haven't seen enough of him to judge him in the playoffs.

Troll post

If not ?, c'mon. That would be like the Isles offering Pelech for Pasta. It’s ridiculous.
