Think you forgot to add Kotkaneimi in the trade.

Debrincat for Patches is almost a one for one deal at this point. maybe you exchange picks like a 1 for a 2 or a 2 an a 3. but a rookie coming off 30 goals and 50+ points with 2 years left on ELC, for a player that puts up same points thats almost 30 thats gunna want a big pay raise next year.... thats closer to a one for one

i like how you add substance to the discussion instead of just "*****says no" or "***** decline", that type of input is useless and we see way to much of those garbage posts. If people can't add anything of value to the discussion they should just read and move along. Your posts have some though behind them. Thanks

Patches to chic might happen now that they have room but you gave too much i think and we dont want a goalie mtl has plently of goalie prospects ... get a 1st round pick and a prospect and forget the rest and then continue with our rebuild

so the Hawks are going to add salary for basically the same output? I agree, hawks decline.

I honestly think the best case solution for Patches right now is a collection of draft picks. I'd be happy with a first and a second at this point. His value is at an all time low.

Maybe, Bergevin can go as far as doing something conditional. Maybe something along the lines of a 2019 first rounder, and a 2020 2nd rounder that becomes a first with certain condition(s) met (playoff performance of individual, or playoff performance of team, or re-signed to an extension... something along these lines).
