Oilers get a scoring winger( one of the best in the entire league). This is something they have always needed. Together Panarin and McDavid would literally be unstoppable and Panarin quite possibly could reach 45-50 goals with McD.

First off, draisaitl has way more value than Panarin. Panarin said he wants to play for a coastal American city. 7 years of draisaitl for one of Panarin. I wish I could give zero stars

Draisaitl is 22, Parinin is 26. Drai is locked up until forever, Panarin is a UFA after next year. So Edmonton says a definite “no”.

Thought it was gonna be something that actually made sense. Draisaitl for Jones. Instead, it was this garbage lol. Drai is younger, plays the more valuable position and very similar to Panarin in scoring while also being great defensively. Panarin is a 1 year rental for us and I wouldn't even move Nuge for him.

That is untrue. Panarin is the better player. Also if you read the description it comes with an extension.

You have got to be joking. Panarin is a slightly better player than Drai( top 5 left winger in the NHL)....and this trade would come with an extension

Panarin is the better of the two players. But there are so many things wrong with this trade. Starting with the increase cost of Panarinis next contract. Next year he signs 10 mil plus.
Oilers, not really having a ton of cap space for that, even dumping dri.
Second, I don't think you would see McDavid and Panarin on the same line. Simply because you need to spread talent around.
Lastly, and let me be clear on this. Columbus has a number one center in PLD. If you don't think PLD is a number 1 center, I know 30 other teams that will take him off your hands.
The problem is the growth of Wennberg is stunted. All you have to do is look at the coach to figure that one out.

And if you were in touch with reality you would know Panarin won't sign an extension in Edmonton
