The Kulikov buyout is not a good move. A more likely scenario is a cap dump much like Mason. Say Kulikov and Petan to Ottawa for a 5th rd pick. He’s not a terrible player just overpaid for this team.
I’d like to believe Roslovic is a 2C but... skeptical.

LTIR isn't a buyout. Kulikov likely won't be ready coming off back surgery. We can activate him as soon as he gets back and send Ben Chiarot down. The only thing LTIR does is allow some of our bonuses to be relieved. Sending Chiarot down to the minors relieves about 1.025mill in cap when we were only getting 0.79 in relief to begin with. Buying him out is not an option since that would hamper us for the next 4 years.

Roslovic scored at 2.3P/60 even strength playing with players like Little, Perrault, Copp, Dano, Tanev, and Hendricks. If you look at P/60 as a ranking with with NHL stats than the players in that ballpark were Monahan with 2.32, Point and Barkov with 2.31, and Draisatl, McKenzie (only played 7 games), and Killorn with 2.29. Now the ice time does matter, because JackAttack came in hot, and really never hit a drought which is going to happen if you play a full 82 game season. But if you can put up top 6 5v5 numbers in limited time with Hendricks, that Monahan can put up when he's on the ice with Gaudreau then we found ourselves a gem. I want to see what he does playing between two true scorers. If I was going to bet money, I would say he breaks 50 points, and makes a push for 60.

Right, sorry I misread the Kulikov move.
I hope you are right on Roslovic. He’s definitely going to be a big piece this year but most likely RW3 I think.
    Cheers!
