I think Price is untradeable - a) he's worth way more to MTL than he would be to any taking team and b) MTL won't sell him for cheap, but no will high buy him if they have to empty their farm system AND give up hight tier roster players - the risk is just too high.

Right team, wrong package. Though some of the pieces are there. I think isles and Oilers are the only teams that you could move Price too. But you’ll have to clean up their mess to do it. Even then it’s dicey. The length of that contract is tough to take on.

finding a pure starter in the nhl is extremely difficult. ask the flyers, oilers, stars, and jets how hard it is is to find a long term starter. trading price would by far be the biggest mistake the habs can make. he is an elite talent. they dont come very often.

Considering his injury history and you’re getting good prospects and picks I’d say it’s great value.

maf, quick, lundqvist, even bobrovsky have injury history. does that mean u wont get top dollar for them on the market because they're bad?????
