What makes you think Nill will not be able to re-sign Seguin? The man is a shrewd GM, one of the best in my opinion!

Seguin isn't coming back to Boston lol. The man that was driving the bus when Seguin was traded is still here as the VP. Also not sure how you justify giving Seguin over $10 million a season when guys like Marchand & Pasta are making less than $7 million a season.

You're right in that the Stars have yet won under Nilll but I do not think that detracts from his abilities as a GM. I am under the believe, quote frankly, that Bowman isn't a very good manager yet his name is on the Stanley Cup 3 times! It takes everything to go right for a team to win with luck and good health right up there with the more obvious things. I don't have many answers, just observations and opinions.

Yeah, you're right. Jim Nill sucks and should be flipping burgers somewhere instead.

I'll say this sbout Nill. While HIS team might not be much YET, he has altered the Chicago Blackhawks as much as any. Why did he insist on Johns in the Sharp cap dump in 2015 and and not simply ask for Seabrook ibstead? Because he knew that trade would it an artery. Last year he was complicit again when he traded the 25th pick (I believe) with Bowman. Chicago is in a desperate need for Crawford's replacement in net. Oetinger (?) would have been a fantastic choice. Bowman chose incorrectly to trade down and forsake his goalie of the future -- which is actually the present ! Jim Nill purposefully made a division rival weaker with both of these shrewd deals. He greatly helped in bringing the Hawks rum to a grinding haly. Him and Bowman!!
