No thanks for either trade. Zucker is great and I would love him, but the price is too costly for our team. McCabe is a solid defender and one that we desperately need if we ever wanna win games. Too many people have given up on Nylander even though his potential is close to elite. If he is developed properly, his gameplay and point totals will dwarf Zuckers and the Sabres will be on the wrong end of yet another trade. Sam Bennett is a bust, pure and simple

Zucker scored 33 goals last year and is only 26... McCabe is a decent 4th-6th defender but hardly un replaceable.... Nylander would be a risk to trade if he breaks out but that's a big IF. This might be the last year to trade him before his value dips. As far as Bennett goes. He might be a bust he might not but all we're doing is giving up a 1st round bust of our own in Girgensons (No arguments excepted on that front. The guys a bust) Baptiste who is a fringe NHL player and a 3rd. Hardly a huge give away...

But that's a couple pieces to get get a bust. Your logic is to trade unwanted pieces to get an unwanted piece......
