I cant blame Bowman for wanting his players back...... I mean he was only forced to make trades he never wanted to make.......

Imagine having a team that could contend for the foreseeable future, then you're forced to make trades you don't want to make?

It's like creating the right recipe, and once you finally get it right you're forced to destroy it....

It's not like Bowman traded any of those guys because he thought he could do better...

TBH, I'm glad Kruger is back, his defense (along with Hossa's) was dearly missed this past season... Kruger will be a tremendous upgrade in the bottom 6...

If there was no salary cap the Hawks would have 5-6 Cups by now at least.

But there is a salary cap. And Bowman had to trade those guys because he gave out a bunch of bad contracts. So he forced all of that on himself.

No it wasn't Bowman's fault - it was Tallon's fault for starting this mess - he was the one that "forgot" to qualify Byfuglien, Ladd, Bolland & Versteeg and that started the domino effect of cap hell... But yea, he should have just let those guys walk eh?
