It is a solid line up. I think Stralman will get a 2 year contract and Jake will not be with the club. Lastly I think Point will be in the 5+ range. So trading Cally with an asset better than a buyout. IMO.

The thing the Lightning have going for them is they can bridge Point as he will be an RFA, if they get an offer or take the compensation, it would be a route they could pursue. I agree with you on Stralman, but with a reduced role required and getting a little older, he should be able to sign for less. I think keeping Dotchin would be great since it will be a cheap contract which they need with all of the money. I wanted to buyout Karlsson to not have to give up any young assets.

I agree Stralman should land at about 3 mill. I think you meant Cally not Karlson though we all would love to see Karlson here but I don't think it makes sense financially or what we would have to give up. Cally buyout will be less costly 5.8 times 66% over two years.
