Trade has good value, but why would Dallas trade Klingberg after getting EK? The point of adding EK from their pov is to get better, while they'd still have Seguin and EK. Dallas wouldn't trade Klingberg... especially knowing that they'd end up losing Karlsson (or Seguin) in the offseason.

Any team that wants Klingberg is going to have to pry him out of Dallas’s cold, dead hands. It’s not that he’s all-world, although he’s a very good player, but his contract is soooo good. He’s a huge reason Dallas can go after EK. He would be a perfect fit with the Leafs, but I don’t see Dallas moving him unless a team seriously overpays. Good thought though! This Leafs team would be awesome to watch.
