Description
This is a mock up of some trades and signings to benefit the devils

Trouba Trade explanation: The conditional pick for the resigning Trouba comes into effect because last year with Winnipeg he didn't want to sign and almost pushed to becoming a FA.

Nylander Trade: This trade gives Toronto a B+ or A prospect for a 3rd round pick and Johnsson (who probably won't resign next year), The 1st and 3rd from Nj are to give Toronto more cap flexibility in the 2019 offseason to resign Marner and Matthews.

    do you really think a 34 year old okay defensemen, a 2nd, and a 3rd round pick will be the best offer that the Jets get for Trouba? All these deals are wildly lopsided in the Devils favor.

    Trouba has an arbitration hearing, so he’ll be signed well before the season since the arbitrator will decide in a few days. Nylander is worth significantly more that what you’re giving

    Did any of you guys read the description... all of the explanations are there. Nylander won't be able to sign with Toronto regardless so it makes his value decrease. Winnipeg either have to pay Morrisey of Trouba soooo...

    so for some odd reason they decide to give him away for nothing? soooooo all the other teams in the league decide they don't want to make an offer? no. these trades are absurd fantasyland stuff.

    If you look at a value standpoint it's all fair. just stop being so uptight with trade value, everything can effect a player and their value.

    It isn't fair value. So you're a devils fan I take it. I'm a Bruins fan. What if I pitched you an offer of Debrusk and a second for Taylor Hall...would you think that is fair value?
