There's no way Colorado gives Ottawa its 2019 first round pick back for that.

Umm why? Your trading a 1st round pick + 3rd line centre for 1st round pick.

Probably because of the strong likelihood of that pick being a TOP5 pick.

Your Tampa trade wouldn't happen either. Tyler Johnson has a full no trade clause that just kicked in July 1st of this year. No way is he going from a top 3 team in the league to a bottom 2 team in the league.

He'd be going straight to Dallas. Just a part of a 3-way trade.

No way Colorado sends that 2019 pick back for that return. Also that Dallas trade kinda stinks, Gurianov sucks and you could probably grab more value for Johnson without packaging Callahan.

I know he had a rough post season but he's still young. He may not be a Top 6 player but I don't think he sucks

Yeah sucks is a strong word for him but I wouldn't be surprised if he heads to Russia in a few years if he cant crack the top 6 in Dallas.
