So Nylander, Gardiner, Brooks and a 1st for Dumba?? That’s a lot to give up from Toronto.

That's the payment required to acquire elite RHD, it's WAY better than giving up Hall for Larsson. I can see this being accepted by Minnesota

So Dumba is now elite? Still seems like an overpayment.

Quick and easy "no" from Toronto. Dumba and Gardiner are putting up equal production right now. You want Toronto to trade for the same production while also having them give up a potential 70+ point guy in Nylander, a prospect who put up 250 points in his last two WHL seasons (Brooks), and a 2020 1st round pick? That's entirely too much to give up for a guy who brings the same production as Gardiner.

You want those 4 pieces, the conversation is going to start at:

      Matt Dumba
      Jordan Greenway
      Jared Spurgeon
      2020 2nd Round Pick (MIN)

Gardiner is a UFA so they could have got him for free if they wanted, but your argument makes sense

If you take out Nylander and Dumba is signed to that before coming over it's a yes from me.

Although he's very good, and has improved quite a bit, I would not consider Matt Dumba to be an elite RHD.

The package displayed above is way overpayment, especially considering you have Gardiner signing an extension. A fair deal is Zucker and Dumba for Nylander and Gardiner. Take out all the extra BS and keep this as a pure hockey deal. I am making the assumptions that Gardiner comes with a fair and reasonable extension and all RFAs that have been traded here are locked up by their new teams.
