Weber is a cap dump at this point, horrible contract and he’s missed a lot of time last and this coming season. Even taking back Horton, the value isn’t close

Weber à cap dump? Buddy go to sleep I think you need it lol. Seriously this trade is made at the trade dead line once Weber is back. You need to see the previous trade with the Leafs.

He’s 32 played 26 games last year probably another 26 by the deadline and has 8 years left on a very expensive contract, theirs not enough he could do from December till the TDL to warrant Nylander Kadri and a first. Patches and Shaw don’t make up the difference

Ah, yes! Tell me more about how a 32 year old who's going to be out until at least December after having knee surgery, who also carries what should be considered one of the most untradeable contracts in the NHL, is worth anything at this point? Sure, he'll provide the Habs a bit of value as they hover at the bottom of the NHL for the next few years, but make no mistake, he and Shaw are both cap dumps, and it'll take a lot to get rid of them.

Enjoy that cap hit until 2026 man!
