Pacioretty getting big paid more than 7 million is too much, that’s more than JVR and Evander Kane. I see him sign a similar contract to Nylander around 6-6.5 million

I didn’t mean Paches is a bad player, it’s just that he had an off year and needs to get back on the rate he was scoring at in order to be payed more than 7 million.

33 39 37 30 35 17... and he has to get back on track!? Playing with Desharnais, Danault & Plekanec, mind you. Imagine with Kopitar/Carter, Couture/Pavelski, Benn/Seguin or even Crosby/Malkin. Imo he's looking at 3y8.5m - 4y8m - 5y7.5m - 6yr7.25m - 7y7m - 8y6.75m Scale.

Sorry, I never took into consideration that the BEST Center he played with was Plekanec's. It's sad how Bergevin never got an elite center or at least a decent one to play with Patches. Not to mention the pressure of being captain of a team that relied solely on the performance of Price in the playoffs. Patches is a way better player imo than most people see him as. I could see him score 40+ goals every season easily if he got the oppurtunity to play with McDavid. Hopefully he shows his true talents when a GM puts talent around him.
