Description

Tor gets a cost controlled RHD for the first d pairing they need. They also receive the 2nd round conditional pick from the lightning that becomes a 1st if tampa wins the cup. The rangers are rebuilding and get nylander who will be good for the future of the team.

Shattenkirk has stated in the past, That he has no desire to play in Canada. Don't see him going to Toronto.

"Tor gets a cost controlled RHD for the first d pairing they need." Certainly isn't Shatternkirk. He was the 3rd best RHD in St Louis, third best RHD in Washington. Leafs don't need him as a PP guy. He's an average at best even strength, certainly not what the Leafs need. This is the trouble just looking at scoring points. Some fans think it's a measure of proficiency and needs.
