Wow that’s an overpayment. I think Dallas fans aren’t gonna like this one. But as a Habs fan I would go absolutely nuts if they got that return lol

No clue why you’d trade heiskanen for patches but not karlsson.

Worse the Hall for Larssen? Which isn’t even the worst trade ever.

Not a good trade for Stars but let’s not get over dramatic.

No this would most likely be worse than hall for Larsson

League MVP for mediocre dman. V. Established 1st line winger for unproven assets. It would remain to be seen.

Gretzky, Naslund, Jagr, Neely, Lindros (Quebec trade) and Hull just to name a few that were worse. There was also a trade for someone in the 40's that involved a hockey net that I remember seeing on a 30 for 30 involving the Maple Leafs (?, maybe the Habs).

Thank you all for your interesting aswers. I didn't thought Miro was an untouchable in Dallas. I will work something else don't worry.

You aren't getting Heiskanen, you aren't getting Dellandrea, and Spezza won't waive his NMC for a trade to Montreal. Any package involving Pacioretty to Dallas will likely involve something like Honka and a 1st being the return for Montreal. May be a couple other pieces in there from both sides to flush out the trade, but I don't see Dallas giving up much more than that.

Not gonna say it's the worst trade ever, but it's not a good trade at all. Worst trade that comes to mind is the Gretzky trade to the Kings back in 1988

My point of view is that the Lindros trade to Philly was by far the worst trade I have ever seen. Great for the Colorado Avalange's franchise.
