That's a lot of money and compensation for a guy who has only played above 65 games once in 5 NHL years. I get he is worth it when he plays but.... Would also have to be the 2019 1st if I remember correctly.

Trouba would never sign that offer sheet. He knows the Jets would match and thus ends his dream of being a UFA in 2020. Not relevant anyway, Trouba signed for a year by the Jets

Trouba already has a one year arbitrary deal worth $5.5 mil, Pretty sure you meant offer sheet him in 2019/2020. And Winnipeg would easily match that offer sheet any ways.
