Honestly impressed with the signings, all are actually accurate
And if only the leafs had a really good defenseman this team would be so awesome

Can't see will nye accepting that
And you don't want those 3 guys expiring same year

Horton doesn't go ltir with that cap space

Prefer lindholm over Ennis
Babs preference as well

Overall not bad lineup
Lot has to go right with that D to become perennial contenders

Sorry, those aren't realistic signings or lineup. C'mon Carrick makes 1.3m now and you want him on a 3 year 750,000 per year deal. Doubt if Marincin, Neilsen or Ennis are NHlers. Leafs are going to have to spend on some real NHLers.....even its Borgman, Rosen or Ozhkigkov might be NHLers but will making more.

You're right on Carrick. He'll definitely be making more than 750k (I think if he has a good season somewhere around 2 seems right). I also agree on Neilsen and to an extent Marincin (he may still have a chance) Ennis on the other hand is an NHLer, a 4th liner and a winger albeit but an NHLer his issue has always been that he was overpaid but he is a capable player. The signings even out (Matthews is making $11M mostlikely but Marner is making $8M so give or take a million). He put Horton on LTIR way too early so the way he's built this team he has more than enough to add a top 4 D with Horton's LTIR properly managed. I'm also basing this off a more realistic $82M not the $85M he's going off of.

Don't like the D, Matthews too light, Nylander might be OK, or a bit light. Roster size 22 and over the cap. Better off keeping a $5 million D and not signing a forward.

No comments on the Zaitsev trade. No chance Arz pays 4+ mil to a 6th Dman...
