Description
The Theodore signing gives the Oilers another puck moving d-man who’s best years are ahead of him. All four top pairing guys are 25 or younger.

8 of the 9 top forwards are 25 or younger.

Jarnkrok has the best contract in the league.

Raanta is signed for the next 3 seasons at a reasonable price.

Sekera is likely done; putting him on LTIR clears up a bunch of cap space.

      I don't think Vegas wants to trade arguably their best defenseman right now unless it's an upgrade.

      raanta looks much better than talbot atm so you would have to include more than just a pick upgrade as raantas numbers were one of the best in the league last year and he was on arizona.

      47 games last season is considered a full season and yeah but last year talbot was horrid as was lucic and players values go down with off years and you dont know if they will produce at the same level again so with raanta's value increasing due to his insane numbers over the years and even on a bad team its a horrible trade of pheonix.
