That CAR trade is awful, not close whatsoever.

What trade would you make with car for them 2? Legit curious i thought it wasnt bad on both ends in my opinion.

Not as much worried about Ferland or the draft pick, but to get Slavin you would have to come back with a legit top 6 F, most likely a C who can slot in on one of two lines. Don't think this trade would work because the fit isn't there. Obviously Crosby/Malkin are off the table, and while PIT has some very good top 6 wingers, don't think it's a good fit for CAR if they're giving up a young stud of a defenseman, who was just signed to a very reasonable long-term extension last year and by all accounts is already a leader on this team at a young age.
