Description

GMPF will sign Zucker and start the season with a similar lineup as last year. Essentially giving this core a "prove it" year again.

Despite mine and many others wishes, at this point I don't see a major trade before the start of the season. Maybe near the Trade deadline, but the core will be remain for now.

I think the only way Rau starts the year on this team is if Greenway doesn't. He'll be the 3LW, not the 4C. Fenton kept mentioning that the point of signing Fehr was to get a right handed center so I highly doubt they'd bench Fehr for the left handed Rau. I'm also willing to bet money that Koivu doesn't start the year at 3C. It sounds like they'll pair Greenway and Eriksson Ek together and give both a shot at 3C. Neither are good enough on the dot for the 2nd line.
