Zadina alone is worth more than Trouba... He has so much potential. You're better off keeping him and trying to draft a defenseman, or giving up different assets for one. Detroit should definitely keep their 1st, they could win the Hughes lottery.

Wasn’t Trouba’s first complaint about playing on the left side. Why give up Zadina too, that puts Detroit further away from contending. Tear it down and build through the draft while Zadina and Larkin are young

If you see the lines, he mixed the LD and RD around in the top4. BTW, Winnipeg says yes.

2 years. Trouba and Krug will both be UFA. We will have loads of cap. And be in a lot better position to contend. And don’t have to give up any assests.

Why would we trade our best prospect? Just doesn't make sense.

Boston would just laugh and no way we trade zadina for trouba. Yeah our d is terrible but zadina is to high a prospect to move.

Detroit's not trading Zadina for Trouba, Trouba is probably coming home to Detroit any ways in 2020.

Giving up Zadina would be a hard pill to swallow but that’s the price for an elite, young D-man.

Of course they’re not. This is armchair GM, it’s fantasy.

Boston has 8 signed starting dmen. According to the Boston press they are shopping Krug or McQuaid. Plus Boston lements not having a first this year. They want first rounders. Plus I’ve read they like Abby. Maybe as is, they say no but that trade could be tweaked to doable.

Idk where you heard they like abby because ive never heard it. He would be fighting for a 4th line spot on that bruins roster. Yes they have a legit 8 dmen but they wont give them away. Mcquaids always hurt anyways. Honestly i dont like krugs game and how hed fit in Detroit. He needs sheltered minutez at 5 on 5. Im not moving that first round pick either as long as we're this bad it could be hughes and not worth risking

I’ll give you the same reply I gave to the other poster: elite d-men come at a premium.
