Not embracing it. Loathing the fact he wants to leave. And I am in support of the long term focus of Jarmo/JD. they have espoused from day #1 that they would do what is right for the long term future of this hockey club. Keeping a player that does not want to play here does not make any sense. They will not win him over this year. He has all but stated he does not want to negotiate past the start of camp.
Carter did not want to be here (via trade as well). Foote did not want to be here. They need to cut loose with the best package (his destination city or not) and be done with this situation. I honestly think that the Tavares uncertainty held that team back last year. And they got nothing for him in the end, and they couldn’t even trade him because they were on the bubble with Florida at the trade deadline. What a waste.and it makes the team look bad and the management look weak. Good riddance.

Artemi please come sign in Tampa. Don't you want to play with Kucherov?

You are what’s wrong with Blue Jackets fans. He had enjoyed playing here so far, fits well in the room, and will be ready for the season. Far from Carter or Foote. He wants to decide where to spend the next 8 years, doesn’t mean he hates it here. Chill the F out and enjoy the season man, good lord
