Rust and 2nd is right price for Tatar but I will get 1st and they would take Hagelin to help Pittsburgh with cap issue. Tatar would shine with Malkin or Crosby. He is hard working guy with a good shot, speed and hands and potentially can score 25-30 goals.

Both of those trades are way off. Overpaying for Tartar & why trade Sheahan?

Tatar trade would be worthy. He almost scored 30 when playing with Datsyuk, he would score 30 when playing with Malkin.. why trade Sheahan? I would honestly rather have 2smth milion more in cap space than spending it on 14th forward..

Well, Sheahan is the 4th best center on the team and isn't locked up long term. 2 million for just one seasons isn't a big deal. When Malkin or Crosby miss time, he is more equipped to be bumped up to a third line role than Cullen. Doesn't make sense to lose depth for this season.

Wow, you are overvaluing Tatar.

Also, Hagelin isn't a negative asset with one year left. His cap hit is high for his production but he is a solid player that a contending team with cap space wouldn't mind giving a pick for as a rental. .

Still a LOT for Tartar. And GMJR re-signed Sheahan & Cullen for depth, which was lacking last year, and you want to trade that depth for a 3rd? Teams would kill to be as deep at center as Pittsburgh is. I wish I could give this minus stars.....
