As bad as the Lucic deal is, Seabrook's is actually worse. Oilers won't do it.

MTL doesn't want Anisimov.

What is the incentive for the Hawks to acquire Lucic and then give him away for Eriksson? This deal makes no sense from CHI point of view.

Yeah I get that but Lucic (despite his faults) is younger and better than Eriksson at this point.

True. But like I said in my post, Oilers aren't taking Seabrook. That contract is plutonium.

Montreal seems like they're desperate for centers and I could really see this happening.

It's a three way trade involving players who all could use a fresh start. I would take Eriksson out of the three as he is the most skillled on the least horrible contract.

Well it is pete chiarelli, we've seen what he did to get a mediocre right handed defenseman before, and he is only making 875k more for one more year, and still puts up decent point totals, I can see Pete going for it
