Malkin/Hamonic

Created by: Peterman
Team: 2016-17 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 19, 2016
Published: Apr. 19, 2016
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Finding a realistic destination for Malkin is tricky. The Mild are desperate to compete and have a veteran team; they are looking for a #1 center. Seems like a fit. With my conservative Cap number, I had to swap Spurgeon for Hamonic to save some skrilla.

Maybe add the RFA RIGHTS to ZUCKER to the Malkin deal. Good proposal.

I think the Wild would be giving up TOO much without including the rights to Zucker. Malkin is great, don't get me wrong, but he seems to be breaking down more and more every year. He's been about a 60 game a year player for the past 3 seasons. No way I give up two very good young players and a 1st for an aging, increasingly fragile super star... But that's just me.

If you had the balls to admit you (your team) was wrong, you would jump all over this trade!

I'm thinking that Hamonic is worth more than Spurgeon. But agree with Bassman about Malkin...and of course the fear is the possible anchor of 9m x 6yr.

Maybe some other smaller piece in Malkin deal going to PIT.

Small add from MN in Hamonic deal.

Ask may be a bit high in Kuemper deal.
