The TO trade is intriguing but I don't think it would happen. TO needs to create cap space for next season not fill it with defensive defenceman.

Oh, come on, LO! All of the Hawks blue liners were “offensive “ defensemen last year!

I do have a question, tho. If Crawford is deemed to be healthy at some point, would the Hawks carry 3 goalies, or try and send the Finlander to the A? Personally, it does not appear to be in Crow’s best interest to comeback, at least for the time being. All it would take is just one more hit in the melon and he would never be the same outside of hockey. I think.

I think if Crawford did come back and either goalies were playing great, they could use it as a trade chip for a team looking at goalie depth near the deadline, I wouldn't send one down to the A ... it is one of those if they play great you can get a great return or if they play bad, it cost you nothing. And the Hawks are like that, look at what they did with Franson last year.

Yeah, I don’t think it would be a huge loss because it does not appear that the Hawks are going anywhere anyway.

You would think Vegas should be sending their 1st to Chicago. Might only be a couple of picks difference!
