I’m giving you what you said back does that make sense to you? Stats are for loser that means Kucherov is a loser lol. Seriously that what you said

First of all that's a common saying in sports, second why did you quote someone agreeing with me in your post and not answer anything they actually said? Third, just stop: I've stated my opinion and your argument seems to be "he scores the most points" which I already refuted. Do you have anything else in the form of a lucid opinion or are you just butt hurt because I disagree with you?

no it isn't. I think he's saying that people (sorry, i'm going to be a dick for a minute here) that say "BUT HE HAS MORE POINTS HE'S BETTER WOOOOOO POINTS," like you, are losers. People that pay attention to the game realize there is far more to it than that. Hockey games are won in the corners, in the gap control, and a million other things. It isn't always just who gets the pretty goal.

??‍♂️ Controlling the speed of the GAME. I KNOW. (Ima bra dick for a minute too sorry) If you haven’t paid attention McDavid does that for Oilers. He doesn’t have a good team around him does he. You look at the team. 4. Guys stand out 4 just 4. You know who. McNuge Drai Klefbom And McJesus. Why do we call him McJesus???? Because he is the next greatest player to come in the era. Yes I believe he is better than Crosby because at the same age Crosby had a team around him.

Nvm lol. Not worth you getting pissed at me for just stating what you told me in the context you told me.

If I’m not mistaken, the Hart is for the “player judged most valuable for HIS team”, which Ovechkin apparently was those two seasons. As far as winning Cups, which is the whole purpose of playing I guess, it takes an entire team and a bunch of good fortune, not a few superstars.

Go back and look at their comparative seasons. Datsyuk was better and more valuable to his team. And the results speak for themselves.

And yet, the name for those years was who? I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you but stating what did happen. All’s good.

sorry buddy, you seem like a highlight reel guy. A realistic fan just can't give the take that McDavid is better than Crosby at this point in their respective careers. Tell me all you want that he'll be better someday....sure. I don't buy it but it's a reasonable take. He just isn't even close right now.

You literally said stats are for losers if they are for losers then we shouldn’t talk about stats of Kopitar and Kessel what he should bring into Pittsburgh because he scores 90 points. So we shouldn’t know real value on paper only what you see on ice

Value is not only based on talent. It’s also based on Contract and Age.

How old are you? Do I actually have to explain this fairly common quote to you? The saying which is common means that fans of winning teams don't care about stats and losing teams fans have to comfort themselves with the fact that their losing team had the highest scorer or the best +/- etc. I wasn't calling you personally a loser although it's beginning to look like I should have. Oh and by the way Kopitar and Kessel have won cups so I don't even understand this statement.

??‍♂️Every fan uses Stats. We all know this otherwise we wouldn’t have disagreements about who is the best.

I use Advanced stats. The ones that show what player does on the ice with other players and giveaway to takeaway ratio and more you know. Not just pen on paper numbers

Of course you used advanced stats. Because you can't watch a game and formulate an opinion on your own about which players have a bigger impact on the game.

FYI, there are some stats that might help you know what to look for. There aren't really any stats that show you what a player does on the ice. Hockey is a subjective game, it isn't baseball, everything is a shade of grey.

Well done Hockey1033. Well done. applaud

There is a difference between knowing that a player is good and if he has good chemistry with the teammates he plays with

It's kinda dumb that "you heard it". Reading about on a website doesn't make it remotely true. The trade itself, I bet the Kings would have really thought hard about making that deal. They would likely get Patches for a year, and a lottery pick. Without resigning Doughty, the would have 11m to spend, maybe even on Doughty.
