Isles fans - Please comment

Description

I am a fan of 2 teams who are not great right now (the Isles and the Rangers). The Rangers don't seem completely stuck. Ranger fans are excited about the 2018-19 season. Isles fans, not all Isles fans, but some, seem to think the Isles are stuck. I don't have them in the playoffs, but with Barry Trotz as the coach, and better goaltending, just because they lost JT doesn't mean they can't have a good year. There's also the fact that there's way lower expectations for the Islanders now.

Even as a Rangers and Isles fan, i'm still excited for the season, and my teams' seasons. What do you think? Let's show all those people what the Isles can do!

Remind me how on earth you’re both a rangers and isles fan? That’s like me being a Caps and Pens fan, or a Blues and Blackhawks fan, or a Habs and Bruins fan. It doesn’t work

Comedian Chris Destefano explained how he's a Rangers and Islanders fan, I'm guessing it goes the same for RAIF, its a NYC thing. I get it.

I don't think the Islanders are going to be non contenders for a huge stretch. Expectations are very low for them so I can see them stealing some games and staying out of the bottom 5 this season.

Possibly. I don't know too much about him honestly. I just know there is no RW listed besides center that I've seen but he could very well play both.

Or like me being a Kings and Ducks fan. This way I get to see twice as many games as half the continent. Of course, going way back to the days when I lived in New York City and was an Islander fan, I watched Ranger games too and always enjoyed seeing both teams beat Rod Langway and Rick Green and the hapless Caps game after game.
