Keep Simmonds And don't trade for Justin Williams would be a better rental

On one hand, it's a solid haul if we get a 1st for Simmer, but I'd think Hexy is looking for an on-ice improvement now. I'm not too sold on Bjork.

I would be beyond pissed with that Williams trade. A young NHL dman, a goalie prospect we've been patient with (may or may not turn out), and 2 picks? I'd rather have the dman and defensive depth for a playoff run and keep the other assets.

Regarding the Simmonds trade, that might be a fair return depending on how high you are on Bjork but not sure where he would play, our LW depth chart is pretty solid right now.

Hagg is a replacement level player.

First trade seems good. Value wise it seems okay and it makes sense. Second trade doesn't IMO. Unless Carolina makes other trades taking Hagg instead of a forward doesn't make sense. And I guess since you said "if" it isn't too important but the Flyers aren't really in a position where they should be making that type of trade
