Looks goods. I hope you guys are right about Johnson and Kapenen. That money could be spent on another solid dman.

I don’t consider petrovic an upgrade on carrick. I don’t understand why we are going after a centre either. Lindholm will do just fine with the limited time he will be out there. If not we have more prospects. Trade deadline I can see maybe a deal for a guy like pageau. I also think Rosen wins that bottom spot. But that’s just my opinion.

Oh I almost forgot, I think sparks stays and pickard goes. Sparks seams stronger and pickard has more trade value.

Pickard has proven NHL experience, Sparks may have trouble adjusting.

I don’t think the adjustment is as drastic for a goaltender. That’s the reason I believe pickard has better trade value though it’s a pretty close toss up between the two. I’m also wondering about that defence you’re putting up. I’m thinking that Ozhiganov or Holl would both be better suited in the bottom pair and liljgren with Dermott. It’s really a lot of speculation with our prospects butI don’t see the defence as week, maybe more unknown than anything.

????? Pickard was waived with no claims last year. Maybe teams aren't impressed by his NHL experience. I'm not saying who might be the best, but if NHL experience was the criteria, Curtis Joseph is available.
