No to the Chicago trade, McCabe is better than Scandella and Pilut needs a year in the A. If your trying to compete that deal makes no sense

Why does Pilut need a year in the A? He’s turning 23 in December and has played 5 years of pro in Sweden already. Won defenseman of the year last year. Two years ago Andreas Borgman put up 15 pts on Pilut’s SHL team...played 48 games for the Leafs the next year. The Leafs...who made the playoffs. Pilut put up 38 last year...can skate circles around Borgman...he doesn’t need a year in the AHL. And I’m not sure how you figure McCabe is better than Scandella.
