At this point, I doubt CHI does Beaudin for Pacioretty, let alone other assets. If the Habs could've scored a 1st for Pacioretty (which is essentially what Beaudin is), it would've been done by now.

I think the Habs are going to hope for a great start to the season with a Kotkaniemi/Pacioretty or Danault/Pacioretty duo that will lead to good numbers for Pacioretty, hoping that his value trends up, and then get what they can for him. At this point, a 1st rd pick would be a win for Bergevin.

The saying " Hope springs eternal " guess that won't be the case for the 2018-2019 Habs season. Guess we will pick up a good draft spot next year..Or Carey Price will be a God and have to once again save this team with 40 to 45 saves a night.
