Switch Chekhovich and Balcers, find a different 6th defenseman instead of Roy and I can see that happening.

Balcers will be a scoring the NHL (if he makes it), and Chkhovich will need more time to develop I think. It would be awesome if Roy would pan out, but the kid can't stay on the ice, and isn't the type of player you want on the third pair.

I see Chekhovich dominating in NHL, he is a beast with technicalities. He had 9 points in 6 games in AHL one year after being drafted in 7th round. He would be top-6 forward sooner than later. And Balcers would be similar player to what Andreas Johnsson is.

And to Roy. Thats why there is Jensen, He can always be that 3rd pairing RHD. Also DeSimone.

I don't disagree about Chekhovich, but I think he will take a little bit longer to develop than you might think. Just be patient with him is all I'm saying.

DeSimone is an option. And if you don't care about L-R, Simek looks like a guy they really like.
