I can think of 16m reasons why these trades won't happen. Callaghan, Killhorn, Johnson aren't waiving NTCs for Ottawa. Wings would have not desire or cap to acquire Ryan.

You managed to make Tampa Bay worse off after acquiring Karlsson. Tampa would be giving up waaay too much here to make this happen. Not to mention that the other two teams would never dare do this.

Not sure if you were thinking but in what world would the Wings give up a high #1 pick and a promising forward under contract control for a Ryan, Duchene and some throw ins. That 1st pick could be Hughes and we walk away with one year of Duchene. We are rebuilding and trading young promising forwards and high 1st round picks and taking expiring contracts of players on the downslope is not the way to do it.

Holland has signed some horrible contracts but if he made this trade he should be fired.

Even a half retained Bobby Ryan doesn't get you Tyler Bertuzzi and a potential top 5 pick. The 1st round pick is going to the wrong team. laugh
