I think Canes fans have a tendency to overvalue their players (look at the Hanifin madness), but Rask, even at $4M, is worth a lot more than a 3rd rounder at this point in his career.

But if you insist, I am sure Montreal would gladly take him for that.

Drop bean to the AHL he isn't near NHL ready. Move TvR to the spare guy and put Fleury back in as the 3LD Then you have a very probable roster
