Nah, there's not much upside in Tampa despite the depth and Dallas is THIN after Heiskanen

Gabe is the obvious #1 for us but that #2 is debatable! As for the list I'd definitely put Detroit higher, and I'd probably lower Philadelphia

If your talking overall depth, it's hard to push Philadelphia outside of the top-3.

First of all, the pens best two prospects are Addison and Sprong, although Hallander is very good.

Second of all, the pens two prospects here should be at least 4 spots higher

Philly has crazy depth, but I'm not sure if they have a prospect in the top 30

They aren't ranked individually and Pittsburgh has a WEAK group

I guess it depends on who you'd refer to as prospects for them. I can see why they'd get a high ranking, but I probably don't categorize the same guys as prospects as you would.

I would probably put Kaut over Timmins as the number 2 in the Avs org.

I'm not sold on Kaut, but Timmins is phenomenal

It's not as bad as you think it is tf? Hallander, Sprong, Addison can all be top 3 prospects in most teams' systems, and Aston Reese is good as well

islanders and ottawa dont have good pools at all currently. 100% shouldn't be in the top 10, Also Pittsburgh has possibly the worst if not bottem 2 of prospect pools in the league and that is obvious after constantly giving up their 1sts.

Hard to give Kaut that #2 given his heart issues imo

So? What does draft position have to do with how good someone is?

those are very over blown. Had his "corrective surgery" and apparently he didnt even need one, it was more of a precautionary reason to put some teams "concerns" at ease. Hes fine and has a clean bill of heath now

Concerns about Kaut health, you would have the same about Timmins who apparently had an undiagnosed concussion in the OHL playoffs and now suffering from a ankle thing that he cant even deal with, he has to take the summer resting

Pittsburgh constantly gives up their 1st picks, yet they have a pretty decent pool. It's not as bad as you think. Addison, Hallander, Sprong can all be top 3 prospects in any teams' system

Kaut is a very toolsy player, I think he has more of impact potential that Timmins. Dont get me wrong TImmins is one hell of a prospect but he might be a little over hyped bc of all the WJC love and playing for a power house OHL team. I just see Kauts ceiling higher than Timmins but Timmis is probably more of a sure thing than Kaut

Ah. Gotcha lol. Didn't read much into it so I just took it as it possibly being a Dzierkals 2.0. Even better pick for the Avs now in my opinion

Seems contradictory given that a handful of guys on this list a) were considered stretches for the 1st round, or b) weren't 1st rounders at all

He has a very good Rantanen blocking the spot, but he has a 1st Line RW, Milan Hejduk type ceiling if he hits all his potential. Probably would never hit all his strides but still will be a good top 6 weapon

Whether or not someone is a first-round pick doesn't determine how good they are. For Example, Carter Hart wasn't a 1st round pick, Addison wasn't a 1st round pick, and they have the potential to become elite in their respective positions
