SJS seems like a lateral move to me. Both very similar players. But if Caps are looking for cap space and some extra picks I guess it makes sense. Just can't see Caps doing this now, maybe next summer.

All of it is great except you missed a trick. The Niskanen trade should have included the 2019 7th rounder so the office could shut down the draft table and start partying early.

Ive felt the same way for the last 2-3 years. Guy still has some potential to be a decent depth scoring player
