Karlsson Possibility

I have no idea if this is fair. I'm guessing the inclusion of Bobby Ryan would mean Vancouver doesn't have to include Elias Pettersson or Thatcher Demko

That's probably too much if you have to take Ryan. Take out Dahlen and 3rd. Also, Dorsett is pretty much retired, why include him?

Agreed ... If Ryan is sent to VAN then Eriksson is going to OTT - also there is no way that 4 young players AND 1st 2nd 3rd picks are all going.

It gives Vancouver some cap space without using LTIR. Ottawa can either use him to either hit the floor if they need or just put him on LTIR.

Probably too much as comment above stated. BUT if you would not take Ryans contract its pretty good value (not adding Dorsett).. I have strange feeling that Karlsson in Vancouver would shine. The players in the pipeline are pretty much perfect for his AND Quinn Hughes' style of play.. dang it. It would be interesting.

Way too much. Assuming Karlsson is resigned, Juloevi + 1st + Virtanen + we take Bobby Ryan would be fair. I still wouldn't do the deal.

Karlsson isn't waiving for a known rebuilding club like Vancouver, No way he leaves Ottawa for Vancouver besides most Canadian teams including Vancouver are on his no trade list.
